Program details
How it works
Appalachian Power’s West Virginia page says residential customers can access an online energy check-up, a free home energy assessment, discounts on LED lighting, rebates on appliances and home improvements, and low-income weatherization assistance.
What the money covers
The page does not give project-by-project dollar amounts. It does state that rebates and incentives apply to appliances and home improvements, and that weatherization help is available for low-income customers.
Timing and deadlines
The page does not state a deadline or a program end date.
Important note
The official page is an energy-efficiency program page, not a disaster mitigation page. I included it because it is a current utility-funded homeowner benefit in West Virginia that can cover some building-envelope improvements.
