  • Provide, maintain, and improve our services
  • Generate wildfire risk assessments and compliance reports
  • Communicate with you about your property's status
  • At your request and with your consent, share your information and documentation with independent licensed insurance professionals and carriers so you can explore coverage (Cindera does not sell or place insurance)
  • Analyze trends and usage to enhance our platform

3. Information Sharing

We may share your information in the following circumstances:

  • With independent licensed insurance professionals and carriers, only at your request and with your explicit consent, so they can review your property and explore coverage options. These third parties are not controlled by Cindera and use your information under their own privacy practices; coverage and pricing decisions are made solely by them.
  • With the community partner that sponsors your access to Cindera, if you receive the Service at no cost through a sponsoring partner (such as a municipality, county, fire department, fire protection district, homeowners association, or utility). Partners receive aggregated, rolled-up wildfire risk and mitigation information for their coverage area, along with your mitigation action submissions, their verification status, and any photo, video, or document evidence attached to verified submissions. Partners do not receive your login credentials, payment information, personal messages, or notes you submit with your mitigation work, and they only see evidence from submissions that have been reviewed and verified.
  • With service providers who perform services on our behalf
  • To comply with legal obligations or protect our rights
  • In connection with a merger, sale, or acquisition of Cindera Inc.

Cindera does not sell, solicit, negotiate, or place insurance, and we do not sell your personal information.

4. Data Security

We implement robust security measures designed to protect your personal and property information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. This includes encryption, secure data storage, and regular security audits.

5. SMS Communications

If you provide a mobile phone number, Cindera Inc. may send you SMS messages related to your account and use of our services. These messages are transactional and may include phone number verification codes, notifications about new in-app messages, conversation replies, and other account-related communications.

By creating an account and providing your mobile number, or by verifying your phone number in your account settings, you consent to receive these SMS messages. Message frequency varies based on your account activity and messaging use. Message and data rates may apply.

Cindera Inc. does not sell or share your mobile phone number with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may share your number with service providers, such as our SMS delivery provider, solely to deliver messages on our behalf.

You may opt out of conversation-related SMS at any time by replying STOP to a message. After opting out, you may receive a final confirmation message. You may opt back in by replying START, YES, or UNSTOP.

6. Your Choices

You may update your account information at any time. You can also request the deletion of your personal data, subject to certain legal and operational requirements. You may opt out of conversation-related SMS as described in Section 5.

7. California Privacy Rights

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have specific rights regarding their personal information. These include the right to know what information is collected, the right to delete information, and the right to opt-out of the sale of personal information. Cindera Inc. does not sell your personal information.
