How it works
Kittitas PUD says it has established a low-income energy assistance discount for residential services in compliance with Washington law. Customers who have applied for and received a Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program award in the current program year qualify.
The current benefit is a monthly basic charge discount of $10 per account for service at the primary residence. Customers who qualify are automatically enrolled annually in October, and the discount lasts for 12 months or until service termination.

This program reduces the monthly electric service basic charge. It does not state any home-hardening work, repairs, or retrofits.
