Housing Rehabilitation Program

How it works

The City of Vancouver’s Housing Rehabilitation Program provides loans for basic home repairs to qualified low-income homeowners within the city limits. The program’s goal is to preserve the existing housing supply in Vancouver.

What the money covers

The page says the rehab program’s priorities are to address:

Additional notes

The page also says the City is seeking local contractors to bid on and perform work for the program. Contractor qualifications include current insurance, bonding, and licensing; EPA RRP certification for homes built before 1978 with lead present; knowledge of asbestos and lead-based paint safety; and ability to follow City housing rehab specifications.
