Fort Worth Priority Repair Program

How it works

The City of Fort Worth’s Priority Repair Program (PRP) provides repairs at no charge to the homeowner, up to $25,000. The program is designed to address urgent health and safety concerns and priority home repair needs for very low- and low-income single-family homeowners who cannot afford necessary repairs.

What the money covers

The official policy says the program is for urgent repairs and priority home repairs. The page specifically lists:

• Water heaters that are inoperable or unsafe
• Unsafe or inoperable heating systems
