The page does not state a single dollar amount for individual homeowners. It does say Erie County’s Act 137 fund has about $150,000 per year available for eligible applicants after administration.

For Act 137, the assistance is described as a “loan-to-grant” or “deferred-payment loan,” secured by a five-year mortgage, with no repayment required if the borrower follows program terms.

How to apply

The county directs applicants to apply through the appropriate local Redevelopment Authority, with online applications available through Redevelop Erie or the Corry IDC depending on municipality.
