How it works

Franklin County’s Soil and Water Conservation District says it has received a special allocation of funds for impaired and impacted watersheds in the county. The district uses these funds, along with the North Carolina Agriculture Cost Share Program, to help install best management practices (BMPs) that reduce pollution and erosion.

What the money covers

Amounts and matching

Participants can be reimbursed up to 75% of a predetermined average cost for each BMP installed. The remaining 25% is the responsibility of the participant.
