Weatherization Assistance Program

How it works

The state page reviewed does not state a per-home dollar amount. It says annual funding is about $3.5 million statewide and that roughly 80% of funds are passed through to local community action agencies.

How to apply

The state says applicants can email DEEP.Weatherization@ct.gov or use the Connecticut weatherization intake process. For Hartford County, eligible households must contact the Community Renewal Team (CRT) to schedule an initial energy audit.
