Tehama-Glenn Fire Safe Council

How it works

The Tehama-Glenn Fire Safe Council (TGFSC) was formed in 2000 to address wildfire and fire safety through community-based Fire Prevention Education. It is formally recognized by the California Fire Safe Council and is described as a grassroots, community-led organization that mobilizes residents to protect homes, communities, and the environment from catastrophic wildfire.

The council is co-managed by the RCD of Tehama County and Glenn County RCD. The page says the two hosts swap the location of the quarterly meetings, which are held from 1pm to 3pm.
