Monterey Fire Department Home Hardening and Defensible Space Inspections

How it works

The City of Monterey says its fire department has been conducting defensible space and home hardening inspections in high hazard severity zones. The notice says these inspections are part of a broader effort to ensure homes and properties are prepared for wildfire risk.

What homeowners should know
