Program details
How it works
Sutter County’s Fire Safe Council and Office of Emergency Management say they are distributing free reflective address signs for residents in the unincorporated areas of Sutter County to help first responders find properties in an emergency. The page describes the sign as a free, double-sided 6" x 18" reflective address sign with 3" reflective numbers.
What the money covers
This is a free service, not a cash rebate. The county provides the address sign itself.
How to apply
The county says homeowners can order the sign in one of three ways:
- Complete the online survey
- Email the PDF form to the Fire Safe Council email address
- Print and mail the form to the county office address listed on the page
Timing and deadlines
The page does not state a closing date, deadline, or funding cap.
Other notes
The page also points residents to a Sutter County Wildfire Safety & Zone 0 guide and says it highlights hazard zones, steps to protect homes, and tools to make compliance easier.
