How it works

For Northern Virginia residents, Habitat DC-NOVA partners with TruBlue Total House Care to help homeowners with low incomes safely age in place or address other hazards in their homes. TruBlue provides an in-home safety assessment and then completes necessary repairs.

What the money covers

Deck repairs, deck board replacement, and fence repairs
Cabinetry installation
Storm door or screen door installation
Interior door replacement or installation, but not door widening
Grab bar installation
Replacement thresholds
