How it works

Granting Freedom is a grant program administered by Loudoun County’s Department of Housing and Community Development, through Virginia Housing. The county says the Department of Housing and Community Development is a participating agent and submits applications to Virginia Housing on behalf of the applicant.

Amounts and what it covers

• Grant amount: up to $10,000
• The grant funds homeowner-occupied and rental unit modifications
• The county says a requested modification must have an identifiable relationship, or nexus, between the modification and the individual’s disability

How to apply
