City of Gallup Rebate Forms

How it works

The City of Gallup says this page lists all current city utility water and energy efficiency rebate programs. Homeowners can download the PDF forms, complete them, and return them to the city for processing. The page directs applicants to the rebate application forms for complete details on each program.

What the money covers

The page lists these rebate programs:

• High-Efficiency (HE) toilet and showerhead rebate
• HE clothes washer rebate
• Rain barrel rebate
• Refrigerator rebate
• Xeriscaping rebate

For home hardening and fuel reduction, the relevant program is the xeriscaping rebate. The city says it is for replacing irrigated turf grass with an approved xeriscape landscape.

Amounts and matching

• Xeriscaping rebate: $25 for every 100 square feet replaced.
• No maximum award is stated on the page.
• The page also lists other rebate amounts:
  • HE toilet and showerhead rebate: residential customers can get $100 for the first toilet, $75 for the second toilet, and $50 for the third toilet; commercial customers can get a $75 utility bill credit for each older-than-1994 toilet.
  • HE clothes washer rebate: $100 back for replacing an old top-loading washer with an approved high-efficiency model.
  • Rain barrel rebate: $30 rebate for two rain barrels.
  • Refrigerator rebate: $100 rebate credit for qualifying models.

How to apply

Download the relevant PDF form, complete it, and return it to the city for processing. The page says to see the application forms for complete details on each rebate program.

Timing and deadlines

The page does not state an application deadline, opening date, or funding cap. It only says the listed programs are current.
