Residential Rebates

How it works

Independence Power & Light (IPL) offers rebates to residential customers who purchase certain equipment that meets the utility’s energy-efficiency standards. Rebates are available for both existing and new single-family and multi-family homes.

What the money covers

How to apply

Homeowners must fill out a rebate application form or call IPL at (816) 325-7485 to request a form by mail or fax. Applicants must mail the completed application and a copy of the detailed receipt to IPL at the address listed on the page. IPL says it will then contact the customer by phone or mail to say whether a site inspection is necessary.
