Program details

How it works

The City of Harrisonville offers Level Pay to help utility customers avoid the highs and lows of seasonal bills. The program sets a fixed monthly utility charge based on a residential customer’s usage over the previous 12 months.

What the money covers

This is a utility billing and budgeting program, not a home-hardening incentive. It does not provide cash for repairs, retrofits, or equipment; instead, it changes how the city bills for utilities.

Amounts and matching

The city does not publish a dollar incentive amount. Eligible residents pay the same amount each month for 11 months. In February, the city issues a true-up bill and recalculates the average for the next year.

How to apply

The page says residents should call the Utilities Office at 816-380-8900 to learn more about Level Pay.

Timing and deadlines

Qualifying residents sign up in January each year, and the enrollment period ends at the end of that month.

Notes

A resident may cancel Level Pay at any time by notifying the Utilities Office in writing.
