Lenawee County Home Improvement Partnership Program

How it works

Lenawee County’s Home Improvement Partnership Program helps eligible residents make needed repairs and improvements so they can continue living safely and confidently in their homes. The county says the program is administered locally in partnership with the Community Action Agency.

The official county page says the program is for residents living outside the City of Adrian, Village of Clinton, and City of Morenci. All other Lenawee County residents may apply if they meet the eligibility guidelines.

What the money covers

The county’s program page lists these example improvements:

• Roofing
• Heating and cooling systems (HVAC)
• Accessibility improvements
• Siding, windows, and exterior doors

Amounts and matching

• Maximum assistance: up to $25,000 per home

How to apply

Applicants are directed to complete a pre-application form online.

• If a resident cannot complete the online form, the county says to contact Community Action Agency at 517-539-8306.
• If the applicant does not meet the eligibility requirements, the administrator may help direct them to another program.

Timing and deadlines

The county materials reviewed do not give a fixed closing date or deadline on the public program page. The county says the program is part of a set of local home improvement programs currently being organized through the county partnership page.
