Talbot County Community Reinvestment and Repair Fund (CRRF)

How it works

Talbot County says its Community Reinvestment and Repair Fund operates in alignment with the State of Maryland’s Community Repair and Reinvestment Fund and is overseen by the Maryland Office of Social Equity. The county page says an inaugural funding round has been completed and that Talbot County is now developing its CRRF distribution plan for future use of funds.

What the money covers

The county’s awards page shows that one of the inaugural awards went to Bay Hundred Community Volunteers for “Home Repairs / Accessibility – Easton.” However, the CRRF page itself does not provide a general homeowner hardening benefit list, a fixed amount for homeowners, or a standing household application process.

Timing and deadlines

The county page says the inaugural funding round is complete. It also lists planning milestones for future rounds, including stakeholder dialogue, a draft distribution plan, public comments, and a public hearing.

How to apply

The current page is primarily a planning and information page for future funding. It does not currently show an open homeowner application portal or a homeowner-specific request process.
