LG&E Demand Conservation Program
LG&E · Utility program
Bill credits starting at $2 per month; no hardening grant amount.
LG&E says customers who enroll in Demand Conservation get a monthly bill credit in exchange for allowing a device on certain equipment to reduce demand during peak hours. It is not a home-hardening program, but it is a current utility incentive available to customers in the county.

How it works
Louisville Metro’s energy efficiency page says that when customers sign up for LG&E’s Demand Conservation program, LG&E installs a device on the customer’s central air conditioner, electric water heater, or heat pump to reduce energy demand during peak hours.
What the benefit is
In return, LG&E credits utility bills. The city page says credit amounts start at $2 per month and vary by home type.
Relevance to home hardening
This is an energy incentive rather than disaster hardening, so it does not directly fund wildfire, flood, wind, or storm mitigation work.
