Program details
How it works
Jefferson County says it is allocating funding to qualifying residents in manufactured homes. If selected, participants receive no-cost services, including an intro and exit energy audit, cost estimates for weatherization and efficiency improvements, funding for the full cost of selected improvements, and facilitation of the work.
The county says additional rebates will be provided through a partnership with Xcel Energy’s Income Qualified & Tiered Geographic rebate program while funding lasts.
What the money covers
The official page describes the program as weatherization and efficiency improvements, but it does not list individual measures on the page.
Timing and deadlines
Applications are due by July 20, 2026. Applicants will be notified of selection status by August 2026. Energy assessments are anticipated to begin in late summer 2026, followed by weatherization work in early fall.
Important notes
The page says this is an application only and not a promise that Jefferson County will perform repairs. It also says only manufactured homes are applicable for weatherization services at this time.
