Clark County SWCD Tool Share Program (CCHIRP)

How it works

The Clark County Harmful Invasives Removal Project (CCHIRP) has created a "bucketful" of resources to help homeowners remove invasive plant species from their properties. Anyone residing in Clark County can borrow a bucket kit through the Clark County Soil and Water Conservation District office.

What the kit includes

Each bucket kit includes:

• dabbers
• a handsaw
• loppers
• a spray bottle for herbicide mixing
• safety glasses
• disposable gloves
• a "Calendar of Control" to keep

The Calendar of Control lists the best method of control, herbicide recommendations, application rates, and best seasons for control. Herbicide is not included.

To reserve a bucket, contact the Clark County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) office at 812-256-2330 ext. 3.
