How it works

Clinton County’s official website says the governor’s disaster proclamation for Cedar, Clinton, and Muscatine counties activated the Iowa Individual Assistance Grant Program (IIAGP) and the Iowa Disaster Case Advocacy program.

The county page says people with personal property losses or structural damage to their personal residence should contact their local Community Action office. For Clinton County, that point of contact is Community Action of Eastern Iowa.

What the money covers

The county page does not give a full covered-items list, but it states the grant is for “covered items” related to losses from the May 21, 2024 storm damage.

Amounts and matching

The page says the IIAGP may provide up to $5,000 of assistance, in the form of reimbursement and/or a vendor voucher.

How to apply

The county page directs residents to contact Community Action of Eastern Iowa.

Timing and deadlines
