Weatherization Grant Program

How it works

The City of Douglas provides grant funding to assist qualified senior city residents with limited weatherization improvements to their homes. The page states two matching levels based on age:

• Adults 55 to 64 years of age may qualify for a 50% grant and 50% applicant match.
• Adults 65 years of age or older may qualify for a 75% grant and 25% applicant match.

Other notes

Manufactured homes are eligible if they are permanently affixed, meaning they are made substantially immobile by brick, wood, or masonry underpinning with wheels and axles removed. Rental property is not eligible.
