How it works

The City of Jacksonville’s Home Roof Rehabilitation Program helps eligible homeowners fund roof replacement so they can retain homeowners’ insurance and stay in compliance with mortgage requirements. The city says the assistance is provided as a deferred payment loan at 0% interest for a term of up to five years. No monthly payments are due, and the loan balance decreases on a pro-rated annual basis if the property remains the applicant’s primary residence.
