How it works
WRAP is the City of Boulder’s wildfire resilience funding program. Property owners first get a Detailed Home Assessment through Boulder Fire-Rescue, then use the assessment report to request financial assistance for eligible work items. After pre-approval, the owner signs a rebate agreement, completes the work, uploads documentation, and then gets paid.
What the money covers
The city says the program funds home hardening and vegetation management work. The assessment report identifies the improvements that are eligible under the program, and the application is made from that report.
Amounts and timing
The 2026 individual rebate offers up to $2,000 per property. The application deadline is October 1, 2026, or until funds are exhausted. All work and documentation must be completed by December 1, 2026.
Process details
Applicants must confirm the property is in the program boundary, complete a Detailed Home Assessment, access the report online, choose eligible work items, submit for pre-approval, and then finish the work within 90 days after approval.
