Operation Fix It works with volunteers and city staff to help qualified Scottsdale homeowners with exterior property issues. The city says it is not a regular maintenance program.

- Tree trimming
- Exterior junk removal
- Exterior house painting
- Xeriscape activities (“Rock the Yard”)
Amounts and limits
- Maximum assistance per household per year: up to $4,000
- The city says assistance may exceed the $4,000 cap in limited circumstances if the issue poses a serious threat to the health, safety, and welfare of the household, as determined by the Community Assistance Manager.
- Yard services are limited to once per year, with additional services possible only case by case through code enforcement referral.
