How you'd help

- Stress-test Cindera’s rules against IBHS guidance, CAL FIRE practices, and common on-the-ground edge cases.
- Help the team distinguish between strong, moderate, and weak mitigation signals in a way that is clear to homeowners, insurers, and vendors.
Ideal background
- Direct experience with wildfire mitigation programs, inspection workflows, or property hardening standards.
- Familiarity with IBHS, CAL FIRE guidance, WUI building practices, or related wildfire risk frameworks.
- Hands-on exposure to field verification, site assessments, or mitigation QA in homes or neighborhoods.
- Able to give practical feedback that balances rigor, usability, and what can actually be verified from evidence.
Time commitment
Light advisory commitment, typically a few hours per month with periodic review calls and async feedback as standards evolve.
