Competitive salary and meaningful equity; benefits aligned with a growing startup.

The opportunity

Cindera helps homeowners, insurers, lenders, and vendors work from the same playbook when it comes to wildfire risk and property hardening. This role sits at the center of that effort for lenders, municipalities, and public agencies that can help fund or validate mitigation work.

You’ll be building the partnerships that make Cindera easier to adopt at scale: identifying the right institutions, earning trust with public-sector and lending stakeholders, and shaping programs that fit real operational constraints. The work is both relationship-driven and execution-heavy, with a lot of coordination across internal teams and external partners.

This is a good fit if you like turning ambiguity into repeatable programs, can speak credibly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and are comfortable working across sales, operations, product, and customer-facing teams.

What you'd do

  • Develop and manage partnerships with lenders, municipalities, and public agencies that support homeowner mitigation programs.
  • Work with internal teams to define partner use cases, workflows, and requirements that can be implemented reliably.
  • Lead outreach, discovery, and relationship-building with prospective partners from first conversation through pilot and expansion.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to launch partner programs, remove operational blockers, and track adoption.
  • Help shape messaging and materials that explain Cindera’s value to public- and private-sector stakeholders.

What we're looking for

  • 7+ years in partnerships, business development, strategic alliances, or a related go-to-market role.
  • Experience working with lenders, public agencies, municipalities, housing programs, or other regulated stakeholder groups.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to move multiple external relationships forward at once.
  • Comfort working in a startup environment where processes are still being built.
  • Clear communication style and the judgment to navigate different priorities across internal and external teams.

Nice to have

  • Background in climate, insurance, housing, lending, or public-sector programs.
  • Experience designing or supporting pilot programs with partner organizations.
  • Familiarity with homeowner financing, grants, rebates, or other funding mechanisms.
  • Existing network in lending, local government, or resilience-focused programs.

Why Cindera

Wildfire risk is getting harder to ignore, and most homeowners still do not have a clear path from assessment to action. Cindera is building the platform that helps people understand risk, complete hardening work, and document it in a way that insurers, lenders, and public programs can use.

You’ll join a small team working on an urgent problem with real-world impact. The partnerships you build can help unlock funding and adoption for mitigation at a scale that matters, and your work will directly shape how Cindera grows in the market.
